William (Bill) P. Redder

A lifelong Penfield resident, he was predeceased by his wife of more than 60 years, Patricia (Pat) Redder and beloved mother, Cecelia. 

Bill graduated from Aquinas Institute (’48) and worked for over 40 years at the Gannett Rochester Newspapers. Bill and Pat were proud owners of an island in the 1000 Islands where they happily entertained family and friends each summer for over 40 years. 

He is survived by his son, Christian; daughter-in-law, Kimberly; grandsons, Seth, Noah, and Jack; and many cousins. 

Bill’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, March 17, 10 AM, at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 1355 Hatch Rd., Webster.
