Bill passed away on December 7, 2025 after a brief illness. He is survived by his son, William R. Eveland (Jeannette Comfort); his daughter, Debra-Anne Eveland (Elizabeth Brewer); his grandson, Michael Eveland (Janette); and granddaughter, Jessica Eveland (Amanda Stromquist). He was also blessed by two great-grandchildren, Lucy and Henry Eveland, who brought him many laughs and smiles.
He was predeceased by his wife, Carol-Anne; his parents, Raymond and Loleta Eveland; his daughter-in-law, Therese Eveland and many beloved extended family members.
Bill was a Kodak retiree, but his most important role was as a faithful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Some of his fondest life memories were of time spent with his Grandparents, helping on the family farm in Cohocton. He was also proud of his time spent in the US Army, and supported his community as a Boy Scout Leader, and a volunteer firefighter. He loved supporting his family with advice, guidance or a hammer and a nail. His family was the center of his life and his devotion to them never ended.
All services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Bill's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
Well done, good and faithful servant.
