"Pearls"
I am a communion minister from St. John of Rochester. One of the first times I came in to bring communion to Ginny she said that she had better not receive as she did not have her "pearls" on. I explained that God would not care and that she looked beautiful regardless. She made me smile and I made her day by brining her communion. She loved her faith, she loved people, she loved Father Peter. She was my favorite! I brought my husband and kids and dog in the night before she passed. We prayed an Our Father with her and I told her Fr. Peter loved her. I could tell the end was near and wanted her to know that my family loved her, Fr. Peter loved her and that God loved her and was ready to take her home! I will truly miss her beautiful spirit and smile and love of her faith! Laura Ziccarelli

Singing in the choir at St John's, remember Ginny playing the organ and swaying on the bench, totally involved in her music.

After school, would stop at the Rectory to see her smile.

She would always wave when she was visiting on Croydon Road or welcome us to sit on the porch of the family home.

Friendly and happy. That was Ginny.
