Thomas Scott Davidson

Beloved son of Dona and Michael Davidson, died peacefully at the age of 56 on September 27, 2020, while in the care of Monroe Community Hospital. 

He is predeceased by his father, Michael Davidson; aunt, JoAnn Johns; uncle, John Thacker. He is survived by his mother, Dona Davidson; sister, Julie Davidson and her husband, Robert Blauner; and two brothers, Russell and Kenneth Davidson. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, as well as close relatives including, Jim Thacker, Maurine Doggett, Liz Null, Bob Davidson, Bob Johns, and Dawn Messier. 

For his entire adult life, he received exceptional care at the Fingerlakes IRA Group Home. Thomas had numerous friends at his residence that brought him laughter and happiness and he had a joyous laugh that filled the room. Thomas had a kind disposition and was well-liked by those who knew him. He had a sweet tooth just like his father and liked to go on trips to local parks and beaches, with a particular love for live music.  

The family would like to thank the Fingerlakes IRA Group Home where he lived happily for decades. He was then transferred to the hospice unit at 4 West Friendship Building, within Monroe Community Hospital, where he received excellent care for the remainder of his life. They would also like to extend their gratitude for family friends who have shown their unconditional support for Thomas. 

There will be no formal services at this time; however, there will be a celebration of his life at a later date. In lieu of sending flowers, donations can be made to the MCH Auxiliary Fund, 436 East Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620(www.monroehosp.org/g).
