Dear Tallmadge Family,
Ruth has long been my inspiration for living the good life. She was often my bridge partner at the AAUW and would stick around long enough to see how we did. If we won (which was often), she would give me a call to celebrate. If we lost, she was kind enough to keep it to herself.
Ruth was indomitable. She even showed up at the bridge game with a broken shoulder. We have all lost a good friend, an intelligent, caring wonderful woman full of generosity, love, and good will. You have my deepest condolences.
