March 5, 2020, at the Episcopal Church Home, just 18 days shy of his 97th birthday.
Predeceased by his first wife, Harriet Beth Taylor and granddaughter, Lisa Beth Taylor. Survived by his wife, Shirley Ayers Taylor; daughter, Bonnie (Ken) Martin; sons, George (Linda) Taylor and Kurt (Peggy) Taylor; grandchildren, Michael (Erin Switzer) Taylor, Andrew Taylor and Melissa (Thomas Fornarola) Taylor; stepchildren, Bethany (Jim) Feuerstein, Deborah (Fred) Johnson, Lynette (Peter) Reeb, Michelle (Earl) Harris; 11 step-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren; loved ones, Tony and Barb DiCiacce, Dave and Elaine Chandler.
Together, Bob and Harriet founded Taylor Heating, Inc. in 1947, which continues today providing heating, A/C, plumbing and home energy services in six counties. A proud veteran, Bob faithfully served in the U.S. Coast Guard/Merchant Marines from 1940 - 1945 during WWII. He loved music, studying WWII ships and travel. He was fortunate enough to visit many countries in his lifetime.
Friends may call Thursday, 10-11 AM, at the funeral home (495 N. Winton Rd.) where a Funeral Service will immediately follow. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery.
