Robert Erwin Joslyn

Robert Erwin Joslyn passed away peacefully at age 88 on June 2, 2024 in the presence of his loving family in Rochester, NY. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Kathryn; son, Mark (Michele); daughter, Laura; five grandchildren, Alex, Evan and Katie Joslyn, and Ethan and Danny Parker; sister-in-law Gretchen Hartman (Jack O'Connell); many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and sister.
Bob was born in Cleveland, OH on January 25, 1936. He was a beloved faculty member of the Harley School from 1969-1996, where he taught Physical Education, coached Varsity Swimming, and acted as Athletic Director. He spent his summers from 1972-1982 as the Waterfront Director at the Adirondack Swim and Trip Camp in Rainbow Lake, NY. He was an avid fisherman and he had a passion for the outdoors. He loved to travel and made a trip to Alaska at least once a decade since the 1970s.

A memorial service will be will be held Saturday, July 20th at 2 PM at Webster Presbyterian Church, 550 Webster Rd.
