Robert French Obituary
On April 7, 2023, Robert G. French joined his beloved wife, Virginia (Fox), his parents, George and Edith, and his brother, Dean (Carol) Blackwell in Heaven. Bob was blessed with 87 years of life. He leaves behind a daughter, Edie (Rich) Pastuch and grandsons, David (Becky) Pastuch and Daniel Pastuch.
Bob worked as a customer trainer for Stromberg Carlson until 1981 and then for General Railway Signal until his retirement. He was a Rochester historian and an avid rail fan.
A Memorial Service in celebration of Bob’s life will be held Saturday, June 17, 1 PM at Edgewood Church, 111 E. Jefferson Rd., Pittsford.
