December 15, 2020. Predeceased by his wife, Betty Ann Crandall and sister, Ann Stear. Bob is survived by his children, Karen (Mike Hewitt) Crandall, Susan (Paul) Suss, Barbara (Robert) Keymel, Robert (Cheryl) Crandall; grandchildren, Jason (Amy) Suss, Christine (Kyle) Sadlik, Michael Suss, Kathryn (Mark Johnson) Keymel, Linda Keymel, Lindsay (Sean) Wilson, Stephen (Sarah) Crandall, Jennifer (Mike Mertz) Crandall; 7 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; special friends, Chuck DeGraff and Kathleen Richardson.
Bob enjoyed a long career at Gleason Works and was active in the Gleason’s softball and bowling leagues and as well as in the Gleason Ski Club. He skied until well into his 70s. He hiked the high peaks of the Adirondacks with many of his work colleagues. He loved spending time at the family cottage. After retiring he played Senior Softball for many years with friends at McAvoy Field. He rarely missed his daily weekday noon hour walk on Park Ave, except on those days when he met with his Gleason retiree friends at their monthly lunch club get-togethers.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private service was held. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Humane Society at Lollypop Farm 99 Victor Rd., Fairport 14450.
