Richard Goerl

Richard Goerl, 88, of Rochester, NY, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2024. Born to Anna and John Goerl on May 9, 1936, Richard worked for Star Supermarkets and had a passion for trains, cars, gardening, and photography.

Though he had no immediate family, Richard is survived by his neighbors and friends, who will fondly remember his kind spirit, quick wit, and infectious laugh. We are grateful for the amazing care Richard received from the URMC MICU, Palliative care unit and GAMA  Associates. Thank you for taking such good care of our dear friend.

A graveside Memorial Service will be held Monday, July 15 at 2 pm Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in Richard's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
