In 1977, Marilyle was the first woman to be ordained a Priest in the Diocese of Rochester. She received her D.Min. from Bexley Hall. Among the churches she served as Rector are: St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Henrietta, The Church of the Atonement in Westfield, MA, and St. Mark's & St. John's Episcopal Church in Rochester, from which she retired in 2008. Marilyle was also a Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice locally. In 2002, she was a co-founder of the Rochester Dachshund Parade, which occurs in May. She loved her eight dachshunds dearly.
Due to COVID, a Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Please consider honoring Marilyle with a donation to Christ Church's Memorial Fund, 141 East Ave., Rochester 14604.
