Mildred "Milly" Baritot Obituary

Passed away peacefully on January 11, 2021 with her beloved husband, Robert, by her side. She is survived by her daughters, Paula (Jim) VanRyne, Bonnie McDowell, Deborah (Michael) Doherty, Sandy McDowell, Valerie (George) Doell; son, Paul (Annie) McDowell; 16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Milly was born on May 26, 1935 to Frederick and Florence Suskie. She was a graduate of James Madison High School and retired as a line supervisor from General Motors. She loved to attend live musicals, listen to the blues, shop for antiques, bet the horses, and she reserved a special place in her heart for the cats she took in. Those of us who knew Milly will remember her for her fiery spirit, her steadfast love, her willingness to help others, and her unwavering support of her family. Her strong and loving soul touched each of us profoundly. We were blessed to have known this wonderful woman and she will truly be missed.

Milly’s Memorial Service will be private due to COVID regulations. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Verona Street Animal Society, 184 Verona St., Rochester 14608.
