Michael Alvarez

Predeceased by his mother, Frances Castillo (Acevedo) and his brother, Ruben Alvarez.  Survived by his life partner of 32 years, Robert S. Foley; father, Manuel Castillo Sr.; sister, Adelaide Alvarez; brothers, Joseph Alvarez, Richard Alvarez and Manuel (Tricia) Castillo Jr.; loved by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Michael served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.  Immediately prior to his retirement, he worked as Kitchen Supervisor at the Monroe County Jail.   

Friends may call Thursday, June 30, 2022, 4-7 PM, at the funeral home (495 N. Winton Rd.) where a brief service will follow.
