Maria (Leni) M. Hochreiter

Rochester: Friday, April 5, 2024, at age 97. Born 1926 in Germany. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, neighbor, and friend. Maria passed away at home, surrounded by son, Ed (Tabitha) and grandchildren, Owen, Gretchen, Ritter, Gus, and Ani. Maria was a beloved mother of Charles (Lisa) and Ed (Tabitha). She is also survived by and adored by her grandchildren, Jessica, Owen, Logan, Gretchen, Ritter, Gus, and Ani and family in Germany.

Maria was predeceased by her husband Robert of 56 years, her parents Bernhard and Elisabeth Muhrer, sister Babette, two infant brothers in Germany, and granddaughter Grace.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, June 22, 10AM at St. John of Rochester, 8 Wickford Way, Fairport, NY. Interment will be private.
