My Neighbor
We moved into our new neighborhood and Les lived across the street. He was the first person we met about 18 years ago. He told us facinating stories of the neighborhood and showed us pictures of what our street looked like when the homes were first being build in 1953. Not a tree in sight! Now it is tree lined and lovely. I think of Les as the "strongest tree on the block!" He had a good run in life and we will miss him dearly. I talked with him just before his last journey to South Dakota. Les would come to dinner occasionaly and lively banter of how he played the harmonica would ensue. We will miss you Les!
