Rochester- February 16, 2025, at the age of 96.
Predeceased by his wife, Patricia Dolan Behn; parents, Leslie and Marie Behn; siblings, Robert Behn, Evelyn Behn, Kenneth Behn, Betty Tracy, Doris Baker, Rev. Robert Behn Sr., Robert Barnhart, Donna Ford. Survived by son, Christopher (Jillian) Behn; grandson, Patrick Behn; siblings, Lowell Behn, Alice Howland, Barbara Hoagland, Charlene Kotlowski; several nieces and nephews.
Sonny was a hunter and enjoyed the outdoors. He loved sports, especially rooting for the Bills and Yankees. He proudly served his country in the Navy, and is a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. He will be dearly missed by all those who loved him.
A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, February 26th at 10 am at St. Thomas More Church. (2617 East Ave, Rochester, NY), interment to follow at White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Sonny's name to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation (www.t2t.org).
