Rochester: July 11, 2014. Predeceased by his wife, Pauline H. (Polly) Personius. He is survived by his children, Cathy Personius of San Francisco, Peggy (Todd CDR, USN (Ret) Barclay of Norfolk, VA, Betsy (Morgan) Rowe-Meyers of Rochester, & Kirk Jr. (Lynne) Personius of Buffalo, NY; grandchildren, Paulina, Maranda, Camille, Nathan (Larisa), Bethany, Becky, Randy, Katrina, Jodie, David & Ely; also nieces, nephews, cousins & family in Elmira. He was a wonderful husband, father & grandfather.

Where Kirk perceived a need he quietly made himself available to help -- most notably Brighton Presbyterian Church, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Brighton Town Planning Board, Cornell Club & Heritage Christian Homes. A US Army veteran, he was a member of American Legion Post No. 1229. He received his Bachelor & Masters degrees from Cornell University & retired as a Monroe County Cooperative Extension Agent in 1987.

On THURSDAY (July 17th) at 11 AM please join Kirk's family for his Memorial Service at Brighton Presbyterian Church (1775 East Ave.., 14610). Private interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, NY.
