Dear Marie and Family,
We are so sorry to hear of John's passing.
I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to know John. I thought the world of him and consider John and Marie as my adopted grandparents. I will miss our weekly visits and time spent talking with John.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time.

A good strong dad
Dear Kennedy Family,
I remember how your dad handled what appeared to be a threatening situation that was brewing on your front lawn one night on Vassar Street. He didn't have to throw any punches, but he came out of the house to confront the trouble makers straight forward and with one or two words he spoke they went running.
Having your dad across the street meant the street was safer for all of us.
Your dad's strength and kindness have made an incalculable impact for the betterment of our world.
Each of you will honor him and make him proud in your own way, I'm sure. He will always be with you.
