Kaizer, Joanne
Rochester, NY: Our precious Mother Joanne Kaizer went to be with The Lord, 5/26/2014. She was born in Dubois, Pennsylvania on January 12, 1939. Predeceased by her son, Daniel Carl, sister Jean Piorkowski and parents Peter and Mary Kaizer.
Survived by daughter-in-law Hala Carl and children David Carl (Anne), Denise Johnson (William), and Darleen Carl-Beck (William), siblings Edward Kaizer (Janet), Barbara Krull (James), Mary Lou Sepp (Jeffery) and Peter Kaizer (Thea) and seventeen grandchildren and spouses, five great grandchildren and two on the way, many cousins and dear friends.
Joanne was a member of Hope Christian Fellowship where she taught Sunday school, bible studies, ran the church cafe and played the saxophone. She played the sax for the New Horizon Eastman band, graduated from Elim Bible Institute in 1997 and ran the Urban Center Ministries for Elim Bible Institute where she loved and cared for people in need. She also did prison ministry at Monroe County Hospital. In her younger years she participated in Toast Masters, Pekin Fire Hall Auxiliary, the Niagara Soaring club and rode a twin Honda motorcycle.
