Jean Friedrich Obituary

Born in 1927 in Buffalo, NY. Jean enjoyed socializing, golfing, reading and traveling, visiting all 50 states and many foreign countries. She was a Past Queen of Zama Temple #14, Daughters of the Nile. As a Trustee for the Pittsford Community Library, Jean was instrumental in securing funding, design and enthusiasm for the current library. A SUNY Brockport graduate, she was a senior buyer for the University of Rochester.

Jean is predeceased by her husband, Hubert “Fritz” Friedrich, to whom she was married for over 68 years. Survived by son, Robert (Michelle) Friedrich; daughter, Marge (Peter) Ostroushko; grandchildren, Anna Kim, Michael, Lindsey; and great-granddaughter, Rose.
