James W. Stirling, Loving Father & Devoted Friend

Rochester: June 26, 2019. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Anne. He is survived by his children, Emily (Ryan) Shaughnessy, Dylan Makovec, Stanley Powers; sister, Maggie Vandemar; niece, Anne Vandemar (Aaron Coder); nephew, Michael Vandemar; great-nieces, Jenna and China; and great-nephew, Casey; mother of his daughter, Jackie Powers; many dear friends including Andy and John.

A Celebration of his Life will be held Monday, July 1, 4-7 PM at Pane Vino, 3400 Monroe Ave. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network at www.pancan.org.

His kindness, generosity, and great humor were unsurpassed and he will be dearly missed by the many who loved him.
