Predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Gertude Emerson; daughter-in-law, Lu Emerson. Survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Patricia; children, Jana (Michael) Halsey, Kevin Emerson, Carl Emerson; grandchildren, Lois Halsey, May Halsey, Pepper Emerson, Finley Emerson, Lacey Emerson; cousin, JoAnn Agard.
Jim loved to spend time and putter at his cottage in Black Lake. He also enjoyed being on his ham radio. Most of all, Jim cherished the time he spent with family and friends.
