Died unexpectedly at age 74 on February 18. She was the daughter of the late Helen and Michael McKeever; sister of the late Thomas and Maureen; beloved aunt of Michael (Cheryl) McKeever, Kelly McKeever, Colleen Farrell, and Kerry (John) Zajac; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews. She is also survived by her faithful friend of 50 years, Chris Sperry; sister-in-law, Carol McKeever; brother-in-law, Patrick Farrell; several cousins; and a multitude of friends. Helen leaves behind her dog, Jameson and two birds.
Helen was a retiree of Kodak and past president of the American Legion Post 942 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church. Helen was deeply proud of her Irish heritage. Her easy laugh, the big and small ways she cared for others (both human and animal), and her commitment to her family will never be forgotten.
Friends may call Sunday, February 27, 1-5 PM at the funeral home (495 N. Winton Rd.). A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, February 28, 10 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 553 Humboldt St. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport 14450.
