Ellen left this world peacefully on December 16, 2023, with family at her side.
Predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Terry. Survived by her son, Jonathan and his wife Linda; daughter, Barbara Kimbrough and her husband, Reginald Greene; son, Stephen and his wife, Kimberly; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Kimbrough; grandchildren, Tim (Laura), Rachel, Julia, Alex and Ryann; great-granddaughter, Evelyn.
Ellen lived a life that touched many people. Her dedication to making a difference at her church and in her community will be remembered by all who knew her. Ellen volunteered for decades at a local food cupboard and filled many roles over the years at her beloved church. Ellen was also a quilter and made many beautiful keepsakes for family and friends. Her legacy of service, caring, and creativity will endure in our hearts.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 1pm at Resurrection Lutheran Church on St. Paul Blvd. in Irondequoit. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Community Food Cupboard of Rochester, 11 Nester St. #3, Rochester, NY 14621.
