Penfield: December 7, 2013. She is survived by her most devoted & loving husband of 63 years, Dr. Thomas E. Gompf, Ph.D. She was the devoted mother of Dr. Robert E. (Leslie) Gompf, Ph.D. of Austin, TX; & grandmother of Liam & Peter Gompf; sister-in-law, Dorothy Elizabeth (Robert) Nordwall; also nieces & nephews. Elaine graduated from Goucher College & received her Masters in Education from Johns Hopkins University. She was a member of Asbury First United Methodist Church for over 50 years. Her family would like to thank the staff at Aaron Manor for the kind and loving care these past four years.

On SATURDAY (12/14) from 10:30 - 11 AM please join the family to share memories in ALL SEASONS CHAPEL at White Haven Memorial Park where her funeral service will follow calling at 11 AM. Interment White Haven Memorial Park.
