Dolores Schulte VanderMallie,

Rochester: On Friday, May 9, at the age of 94, Dolores went peacefully to be with her Lord. She passed with her family surrounding her, with grace, and the kind and gentle spirit she lived her entire life with. She cared selflessly for, and delighted in her parents, husband and children and extended family and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Howard VanderMallie, son Peter, brother George and so many other relatives and close friends.

She is survived by her children Alan VanderMallie (Eileen), Joan Kreuzer (Charlie), Patti Guidash (Mike), daughter-in-law Patricia Freeman, 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren.
Dolores was a graduate of Our Lady of Mercy High School, class of 1937 and devoted her life to raising her four children and caring for her elderly parents. She was an active member in various outreach activities at St. John the Evangelist and the ladies auxiliary of St. Mary's Hospital. The family gives thanks for the many people at St. John's Healthcare Community and Lifetime Care Hospice who cared for her in recent years

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in her honor TUESDAY (5/13) at 12:30 PM at St. John the Evangelist on Humboldt St. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
