Daryl Pete Moorehead

Passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 67 years old. Daryl was born on November 8, 1956, in Bangor, Maine. He is survived by both parents, Walter and Dorothy Moorehead Jr. He was one of seven siblings, Renee (Johnny) Merriweather, Brent Moorehead (deceased), Michelle Nathan, Stacey Moorehead (Jen Edwards), Shalanda (Mark) Okfora, Karyn (Andrew) Steele, and D'Aisha White. He graduated from John Marshall High School in June 1974. He continued his educational pursuits and graduated in June 1978 from St. John Fisher College, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree with a Major in Sociology and a Minor in Business. Daryl and Sharon (Collier) Moorehead were married on June 20, 1987. Daryl was blessed with four children, Daryl (Jameelah) McCullough, Devon Moorehead, Deron Moorehead, and Ravien (O'Neil) Campbell. Daryl is also survived by a host of grandchildren, a great-grandchild, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Calling hours will be Friday, March 29, 6-9 PM, at Liberty Temple Ministries, 144 Reynolds St., Rochester, NY 14608. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 30, 12 PM, at Faith Temple Apostolic Church, 141 Arnett Blvd., Rochester, NY 14614.
