Peacefully returned to the Lord on May 31, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen; son John (Martha); granddaughter, Jenny (Tom) Somers and great-granddaughter, Abby; siblings in Canada, Mary Celina St. Pierce, June Bourgis (Ola), Dellis Beliveau, Margaret Estelle (Duncan) and Joseph Hector Steele; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings, Gloria Norris, Rose Martin and Laura Willetta Thibeau.
Charlie retired from General Electric and volunteered with the Sisters of Mercy and Sisters of St. Joseph.
A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, June 7th, 10:30 AM at Peace of Christ Parish at St. John the Evangelist Church, 553 Humboldt St., where a reception will immediately follow. Interment at the convenience of the family. Contributions in his memory may be made to Saint Joseph's Neighborhood Center or Peace of Christ Parish.
