Rochester: October 17, 2014. Predeceased by her daughter, Barbara Blaine (1985). She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Douglas W. Anderson; son, Roger (Linda) Anderson of NJ; daughter, Beth Anderson of Brooklyn; 4 grandchildren, Christopher Blaine, Jenny Blaine, Claire Anderson & Lee Anderson; 1 great granddaughter, Lucy Blaine; her sister, Sally Williams; 7 nieces & nephews. Arlie was graduated from Cornell University. She was active with Cornell Alumni & Scholarship events and in our community taught swimming for over 30 years at East & Monroe High Schools, was a volunteer for the American Red Cross, was a Girl Scout leader across three decades, and was also involved in the Browncroft neighborhood.

Please join the family to share memories TUESDAY 12 to 1 PM at Crawford Funeral Home (495 N. Winton Rd., between Browncroft & Humboldt). Her funeral service will follow calling Tuesday at 1 PM. Private Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
