A Beautiful Woman and truly a Best Friend Forever

There are many people that come in and out of your life and then there are those that you don't see but never, ever leave you. Ann is one of those people. We met in 6th grade, the journey of Ann, Mary and Connie began....we were inseparable. We each were so different from each other, but we knew each other like no others. We shared our dreams, held each other's secrets, cheered for one another, counseled and cried together. I could not have survived my teen years without these two women. My parents had a place at the 1000 islands and Ann and Mary were my extensions, there was hardly a time when we were not together. I met my late husband Bill while I was still in high school, so then it was Bill and Connie, Ann and Mary! I married, Ann went to college and then to California, I was at her wedding, stood as fill in god-parents when she baptized Matthew, and time continued to press on. Connecting now and again, always thinking there was more time to catch up....I love this woman and am deeply saddened by her passing, I think of her and our time together and it seems like yesterday, I see her beautiful smiling face, her gorgeous blue eyes and her loving spirit and know that we will see each other again!

I am so saddened by your Mom's passing and so sorry for your loss! I love your mom and consider her to be one of my dearest friends! I am currently out of the country and will not be able to attend her services. My prayers and wishes are that you are surrounded by family and friends and that God's choicest blessings be poured upon each of you! Sincerely, Connie Fraser

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Ann at Unity Home Care. She was always a delight to work with. She went out of her way to help people. Her kind loving and gentle spirit will be truly missed. She was a blessing.

Family Ties by Jeanette Streb Sattora

Ann was my sister Marys' best friend.  All the Herman girls were part of our family.  Frequently Ann was at our house, or we were at hers.  I have wonderful memories of those days.  Connie Monachino was often part of the scene.  Ann, Connie, and my sister Mary were inseperable.  Days spent at Mercy High School, flow through my mind.  We were all young, and strong together through whatever strife, trial or tribulation, came our way. Just like glue, we were all bound together in this journey called life.  I remember Ann as one of the sweetest souls' that God ever created, and may the angels lovingly guide her home to Our Lord. Go in peace dear Ann, Love Jeanette
