Greetings! I did not have the privilege and joy to have known Richard but I am aware of his many contributions to Rochester. His contributions towards Peace and Helping Others are another reminder that 'Love' is what makes a difference. Thanks, Rich! Rest in peace knowing that your family, friends and extended Rochester Family grieves your passing.

What a gift Richard's celebration of life was. Thanks to Pat, the extended Mannix family, and to Richard for reminding us in such a beautiful way about what is important - family, friends, and making the world a better place. Thanks for being who all of you are.

My love and prayers go out to Pat and all the children and grandchildren. I loved Dick's sense of humor. He often treated me to ice cream after prayer meetings. Happy memories.
god bless you all.

I didn't know Richard, but have been a close friend of son, Tom, and daughter-in-law, Mary D., for many years. Had the pleasure of observing Tony, Philip, and Bryan, turn into fine young men, a reflection of their Grandpa's caring guidance. Thoughts and prayers to the entire family!

I really knew Rich only through Pat's representation of him - and that was enough to know that he was a wonderful human being.
Our prayers are with you Pat as you begin a new phase in your own life.

Anyone who knew Richard understood what a wonderful, humane person he was, and how committed he was to justice and peace. I'll miss his faithful presence in our community, not least in our Vets for Peace chapter. And I know the spirit he brought to his life, family, work and volunteering will continue to inspire us all.

As a Vietnam Era Navy veteran, I shared with Richard years of dedicated service to the causes of social justice and peace. I also shared with him years of active engagement with Rochester Chapter 23 of Veterans For Peace. He will be missed.
I extend to his family my sincere condolences. RIP, Richard! Presente!
