Rev. William Dargan Reeder

October 19, 2017. Bill was a United Methodist pastor who served NY churches in Pavilion, Old Chatham, Malden Bridge, N. Chili, and Covenant United Methodist Church in Rochester. He was also a long-time staff member of the Samaritan Pastoral Counseling Center. Bill was a WWII veteran, a graduate of Union College and Colgate Rochester Divinity School.

Predeceased by his son, Greg Reeder; brothers, Ernest (Wanda) and Wallace (Evelyn) Reeder. He is survived by his wife, Barbara DeLong Reeder; sons, Paul (Kaaren) Reeder, Mark (Christine) Reeder and Scot (Sarah) Zaffora-Reeder; dear family friend, Elaine Page; grandchildren, Meridith (Nicolas) Jourdain, Rebecca (Sean) DePue and Liam Zaffora-Reeder; great-grandchildren, Penelope and Lane Jourdain, Josephine and Charlotte DePue; brother-in-law, Kenneth (Leone) DeLong; niece and nephews; great nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Saturday, November 11th, 10-11 AM at Covenant United Methodist Church, 1124 Culver Rd., (14609) where a Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM followed by a reception. Private interment. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Memorial Fund at Covenant United Methodist Church.
