Rochester: Passed peacefully in his sleep on December 22, 2017 at the age of 96.
Philip is predeceased by his one true love; wife, Anna. He is survived by his loving children; daughter, Phyllis and son, Philip. Granddaughters, Rosie and Priscilla; and great grandson, Izaiah.
As a young man, Philip served as an alter boy and eventually served his country in WW II. He was a combat rifleman in the 80th Blue Ridge Division and saw action in France, Belgium, Czechoslovakia, and Germany.
Philip was a self- employed contractor creating U.S Homes CO. and spent his time as an avid fisherman and hunter.
He made many people happy and will be greatly missed.
