So saddened by the news of Irene's passing. Many fond memories of her growing up over the years. She baby sat me so many times. I loved our visits and playing games, having Tea on Tuesdays and going over to brush Jenny and even Randy for a bit. She would sing me the "Good Morning Yellow Bird" song and I'll never forget it. She was so nice to our entire family and mom and dad and those birthday cakes were amazing. Her and mom dressing up on Halloween together. It has been sad to watch them get old and grow apart. I will always remember what a great lady she was and still is. Love to you all. Anna Marie

I worked with Irene at BC/BS for many years. I had many lunch hours with her and Leona. She had so many beautiful stories about her late husband and her cherished family. She was always so kind and generous to me. The year leading up to my wedding she gave me a small homemade gift on the date of each month. She came to my Bridal Shower and wedding. When my daughter was born she never forgot her birthday. She would mail her a card with $1 in it for many many years. I have always cherished my memories of this beautiful, wonderful, amazing , uplifting spirit. I will carry the memories of her always in my heart and her beautiful face in my minds eye forever. I am sure her family will miss her dearly. God bless you Irene, your soul will rest in peace because you always were loving and kind to everyone.

Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel about Irene’s passing.

Irene was an amazing lady! She had such a great outlook on life, a joy of learning to do new things, and especially her love for her family.

One thing Ray and I will always remember is how special the holidays were to Irene…. Those Christmas cookie trays of hers were awesome!

I will always treasure the year we all made cookies at Penny & Tom’s house and while Penny was out picking up extra stuff at the store, Irene had me go searching the kitchen cupboards for lemon extract so that she could quickly doctor up the icing before Penny got back. Then this past Christmas, so glad I was able to spend it with her…..we will miss you Irene.

Our deepest condolences,
Karol & Ray
