Gina Marie Quattrociocchi, 51 went to be at peace with God on January 29, 2018 at Rochester General Hospital. Gina is survived by her son, Jesse (Jamie) Quattrociocchi of Austin, TX; mother Nancy Quattrociocchi of Rochester, NY; sister, Amy (Paul) Estro of Spencer, NY and her feline confidant Kenai, and many other family members and friends.
Gina was born and raised in upstate New York, the daughter of Nancy and the late William Quattrociocchi. She proudly served her country in the United States Marine Corps as an F/A-18 Power Plant Mechanic (1986-1990), and after earning an Associate degree in Health Information Technology from Monroe Community College (2006), she went to work for Strong Memorial Hospital.
Gina found pleasure in creating things by hand; she was adept at crochet, quilting, photography, and especially gardening. She was also an avid reader and movie lover. She particularly enjoyed Sci-Fi. Gina was an active member of the YMCA, loved to bike and swim, and could engage anyone in conversation. In addition, words cannot express her love of animals of all kinds.
An unyielding Redskins fan, she was fun, beautiful, and smart. She will be remembered for her ability to love everyone and everything, except the Dallas Cowboys.
Friends may call Saturday, February 3rd, 12 - 1 PM at the funeral home (495 N. Winton Rd.) where her Service will be held immediately following at 1 PM.
