Colin E. Rhodes

July 15, 2018 at the age of 48. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; children, Morgan, Sebastian and Arden; parents, John and Mary Rhodes; siblings, Jackie Yeoh and David (Karen) Rhodes all residents of Australia; in-laws, Bill and Sandy Wing ; brother- in-law, Michael (Kerry) Wing; and nieces and nephews.

Colin worked as CTO at eHeath Technologies, Henrietta. 

Colin was raised and educated in Australia. He received his undergraduate degree in Pure mathematics, with honors, from the University of Adelaide. His graduate degree in computer science, was competed at the University of Queensland.   

Colin loved to fly. He was a private Pilot, his dream was to own his own plane. Colin was an accomplished musician. He played both the piano and euphonium. He was active in several local bands. Colin willingly shared his vast knowledge. The last several years he actively volunteered with the IT department at Lollypop Farm. In addition Colin was a published author. His work appeared in publications such as Austism Parenting magazine, Lifehack.org and Western NY Physician.  He also was active with blogging. Colin loved to cook as much as he loved to eat! But most of all he loved his wife, children and all his feline companions.

He will forever be missed, but never forgotten, for the joy that he brought into the lives of those that knew him. One could truly call Colin a Renaissance Man! 

Friends may call Monday July 23rd, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Crawford Funeral Home, 495 N. Winton Rd. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute towards the children’s college education: c/o Sandra Wing, 21 Caversham Woods, Pittsford, NY 14534.
