Charles Diehl Obituary

Penfield: December 31, 2018. Passed away peacefully on Monday December 31, 2018 at the age of 92. Survived by Viola Diehl, his wife of 69 years, his daughter Barbara (John DeMaria) Diehl, and grandchildren Nathaniel (Susannah) DeMaria, Lynn (Conor) O’Leary, and Stephen DeMaria.

He is remembered for his positive attitude, love of people, and gentle nature. Charlie was a WW2 Navy combat veteran.

His family wishes to thank the VA Home Based Primary Care Program staff, and home health aides Cathleen and Don.

Friends are invited to a Memorial Mass at Spiritus Christi Church on Saturday January 12, 2019 at 10:00 AM, 121 N. Fitzhugh Street, Rochester. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in his name to the Spiritus Christi Caregiving Ministry.
