AFTER CARE SERVICES

At the Crawford Funeral Home there has been an ever-increasing desire to expand our traditional roles beyond “at-need” and ”pre-need” services into “after-need” or post funeral services for the bereaved.  We are now providing bereavement assistance through a program of support materials shared with each family we serve. 

• Our E-NEWSLETTER is distributed quarterly to families we have served and the community at large with the goal of providing helpful information about pre-need and at-need services, as well as about grief and related topics.

• Our HEALING HELP Bereavement pamphlets cover a wide variety of important issues while providing calming encouragement for people who have suffered a loss.  A Thomas Kinkade inspirational painting provides an image of peace and calm on each pamphlet.  The scripts of comforting advice are written by Kelly Baltzel M.A. & Karin Baltzel Ph.D.  Each Healing Help title focuses on important issues and advice to those working through the grief process.

• Each December we hold a special CANDLELIGHT MEMORIAL SERVICE for the families we have served.  This is a time set aside to remember those loved ones who have died during the past year as we prepare to celebrate the holidays.

• Additionally a variety of community resources and support groups are available to provide further assistance.
